I have a number of clients that suffer from insomnia of one form or another. Sleep is an extremely complex issue to address – but I have found that PaRama BodyTalk will improve or eliminate sleep problems. Insomnia is one of the areas that BodyTalk – particularly PaRama BodyTalk – is highly effective.
Our brain, like our heart, never really “rests”. It continues to function at some level as long as we are alive. Sleep is a series of particular states of consciousness – or programs – which our mind runs to process the events of the day, sort memories, allow for exchange of metabolic waste and provide access to immune cells. It is curious – but pretty universal – that simply lying still for 8 hours is absolutely NOT a substitute for actual sleep. The programs that run while we sleep are essential for our mental and physical health.
Research has identified many of the functions, levels and areas of the brain that switch on or off to produce the states that we experience as sleep. We can think of all of these functions as integrated “sleep apps” that our mind runs when we need to get the benefit of sleep. All of the “apps” share a common operating system, common memories, data references etc.. When we are running our sleep program correctly, we sleep deeply, comfortably and wake up refreshed – physically and mentally.
Unfortunately, these “sleep apps” are extremely sensitive to light, digestion, pain, breath regularity, strong emotions, memories, time of day and many other variables that can change on a daily basis. Very strong or consistent stimulus in any of these areas causes your mind to over-write your sleep program and damages the “sleep apps” that you need to get a good night of sleep. What used to be lovely, refreshing sleep becomes a struggle. Your physical, emotional and mental health deteriorate.
BodyTalk works with your individual priorities and issues to reverse the programming errors that are interrupting your sleep. The formulas run as necessary to keep you in a healthy sleep pattern. PaRama BodyTalk is responsive to new or changing factors as you experience sleep. I know it sounds odd – but I have a lot of satisfied clients who sleep better thanks to BodyTalk.
A Warning!! BodyTalk will not overcome foolish and destructive sleep hygiene in the future. Once you are balanced, you need to practice good sleep habits to maintain good sleep. If you abuse your mind – you will suffer. There are almost endless popular articles about sleep hygiene. Please refer to them for good sleep habits to maintain good mental health.
